Through our mahi supporting Te Arawa through its COVID-19 response, we’ve established a dedicated team, Pou Whakawhirinaki, that is working behind the scenes to help create jobs for Te Arawa whānau.

This mahi is in line with the Trust’s kaupapa of promoting the educational, spiritual, economic, social, health, cultural advancement and wellbeing of our iwi and hapū under our cultural values framework: Te Tuāpapa o ngā wai o Te Arawa.


COVID Vaccination Adviser

Working in our Te Arawa-led COVID-19 Call Centre, our COVID Vaccination Advisers are the friendly voice on the end of the phone, delivering compassionate, accurate and timely support services to the diverse and sometimes vulnerable populations which we serve. The Advisor will actively participate in the Ministry of Health COVID-19 Vaccination programme by providing non-clinical advice to the New Zealand population, including whānau in our own rohe.
