Te Arawa Lakes Trust is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to lead and strengthen our health and safety systems and culture. This role is central to protecting our people and supporting the long-term wellbeing of the Te Arawa Lakes and community.
You will develop and implement HSWA-compliant systems, lead audits and risk management, coordinate training, investigate incidents, and embed Kaupapa Māori approaches into everyday practice.
We’re looking for someone with:

Experience in health & safety or risk management

Strong knowledge of HSWA and WorkSafe NZ

Ability to influence behaviour and build trust

Clear communication and relationship skills

Commitment to Kaupapa Māori values
